Eugene was the timekeeper for the 1997 series of Gladiators at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham.

Trained by Gladiators very own John Anderson, Eugene was an athlete who achieved a bronze medal in the Decathlon at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in New Zealand. He was also a European Junior Championships silver medallist.

He now works as a Strategic Projects Director for Newham Council helping people to get more active through the activeNewham scheme.
